ZZ Plant
ZZ Plant is a genus of flowering plants in the family Araceae, containing the single species
Zamioculcas zamiifolia. A tropical perennial plant native to eastern Africa, from Kenya south to
northeastern South Africa.
It has attractive and dark green leaves which makes it best for offices and homes. ZZ is drought tolerant plant and accepts low-light conditions. ZZ plant flowers very rare when grown indoors but it can produce little white and spathe-type flowers almost identical to the flowers of a peace lily.
This plant is an excellent air purifier according to NASA which removes toxins such as xylene, toluene, and benzene from the air.

Before application of fertilizer loosen the topsoil without disturbing the roots of the plant so
it can uptake the nutrients and moisture.
